🤔 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. Do I need a dance partner to join?
No partner is needed! We rotate during class, so you’ll have the chance to dance with different people.

2. Do I need to register in advance?
If it’s your first time, you can just come and do the registration on site. Otherwise please fill out the registration form as usual.

3. I’m a complete beginner. Can I still join?
Yes, this is an open-level course. You may find it a little challenging at first, but you can join even if you have no prior dance experience. We will repeat the beginner steps at the start of each dancing session, so make sure you arrive on time.

4. What is the structure of the class?
First, we warm up to loosen our muscles and prepare for dancing. Then we have the Bachata class, followed by a short break. After that, we have the Salsa class, followed by free dance time to practise our new moves and socialise.

5. How much does it cost?
Our classes are based on donations. If you’d like to support us, there is a donation box at the entrance of the dance class. You can also donate via Paypal (see Paypal barcode on our homepage).

6. Where do the classes take place?
Every Friday at 7:00 pm at TUSCULUM Dresden, August-Bebel-Str. 12, 01219 Dresden. Please check our website or WhatsApp group for updates.

7. What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothes and shoes you can move in. Dance shoes are great, but not required.

8. Who teaches the classes?
Our classes are led by passionate volunteer dance instructors with experience in Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba, Zouk and other dances.

9. What languages are spoken in class?
Mainly English and German. But don’t worry – dance is a universal language!

10. Can I bring a friend?
Yes, friends are always welcome! The more, the better.
